David and Scott both have extensive knowledge and experience in whistleblowing cases.
Whether that be creating and managing external and internal whistleblowing/ethics hotline reporting mechanisms, undertaking investigations as a result of a whistleblowing report or interviewing whistleblowers.
These are all important aspects. However, the first action that should be taken with all whistleblowing reports is the most important -
Whistleblowing Triage.
In our experience, many organisations with limited or no experienced resources find themselves overwhelmed with the number of whistleblowing reports received and finding the time required to triage them.
This can result in delayed actions being taken or missed completely.
Such instances may result in the organisation continuing to suffer ongoing financial losses, the potential loss of evidence or further regulatory risk.
Using their experience in this matter, David and Scott, after discussion with the organisation, can offer to provide a timely Whistleblowing Triage service.
They will receive whistleblowing reports from the organisation, identify the risk, prioritise the reports for action and if required, make initial first steps recommendations in their summarised report.
If the whistleblower has stated that they are willing to be contacted, David or Scott can, as an independent resource, do so on behalf of the organisation, thereby obtaining further information which will assist in establishing the priority of the matter.
